Vegas at 6:30 am

After a pretty bumpy (but otherwise uneventful) flight, I'm here. The good folks at the Venetian upgraded us to the Palazzo, so we're off to a good start.

We'll see how long Allison's wake-up conditioning lasts, but this morning I was wide awake at 7:30. Wouldn't be so bad, but it was 7:30 eastern, and I'm out west...

So we find ourselves walking around the casino in search of breakfast at 6:30 am. Here's what you see at 6:30 am in vegas:
- senior citizens
- convention delegates
- families with small children
- people who have gone hard - all night long
- a few people fighting jetlag
I can't say I've ever really seen the "early morning" vegas - I rarely end up in any of the above categories.

Today's plan has me playing the noon tourney at the Venetian - the $350 buyin - and shaun arrives at some point tonight. So either I'm still playing when he gets here, or we go out and tear it up.
