Daily $200 Deep Stacks Tourneys at the Rio

WSOP just announced that, in order to compete with "other" casinos, they are going to be running daily $200 tourneys at 1:00pm with 15,000 stacks, 30 min levels, starting at 25-50.

This is great - I've been struggling with how to come up with a $4,000 buyin budget for my week - either I was going to play only one WSOP event, and come in under 4k, or I'd be playing two and go over / take some days off.

Assuming the full structure / rake is good and my backers don't object, I'll add them to my mix and my schedule will look something like this:

Tuesday - Arrive

Wednesday - Venetian $350

Thursday - WSOP $200 Deep Stack Daily

Friday - WSOP $1,500

Saturday - Venetian $350

Sunday - WSOP $1,000

Monday - Venetian $350

Tuesday - WSOP $200 Deep Stack Daily

Wednesday - play some cash, relax, then leave at night.

That comes out to $3,950 - right on budget.
