Last day in this strange, strange land...

My plane doesn't leave until midnight, but my tournament playing is done for this trip. Total count: Six tournaments played, two cashes, one final table. Not a bad run at all.

Considering many of my friends are currently down significantly at the wsop, it's nice to leave ahead. Should also make it a little easier to convince Kim that a return trip is a good idea. :)

I said it last year, and I'll say it again - the concept of coming here with Kim appeals to me, but I don't know how that would work out. We'd have to go with a group, so that she's not sitting around waiting for me to bust out of a tourney. Hard to book a show if we don't know if I can go...

Coming with a group, however, could be a lot of fun...

So today's plan should involve:
- picking up a few souveniers
- check out the Venetian $2000 event - see who's there
- head over to the Rio and sweat the 25k event
- have a nice dinner
- play some low limit cash
- head to the airport

It's going to be a long night - my flight leaves at midnight, then Kim's dad picks me up at the airport and we drive to Kirkland Lake - a seven hour drive. Can't say I'm looking forwards to that... Small price to pay, though, it's been a good trip...
