I'm relatively short in comparison to the blinds (and the rest of the field). So my prediction is that I will either double up fairly early and make a good run, or I'll be out fairly quickly.
Last trip I finished 7th in this same tourney, so I've done the "let's cash, wee!" thing before. I'm playing for 1st...
My game plan is to:
A) play pretty tight until two people bust (there's a $500 pay jump there)
B) find a good spot to shove and hopefully get a double.
We start with blinds at 8k, so I'm on 15 bbs. Not much room for a raise-fold there, so I'm in push-fold mode...
T-off in 30 mins. I'm pretty pumped...
