About seven years ago (almost 8) I became friendly with a poker player through an online poker forum. Discussing strategy, participating in contests / last longer bets and buying pieces of each other in various tournaments evolved into a true friendship - he's watched my children grow from afar, I encouraged him when he was smitten with a Canadian girl he went to school with, etc.
Finally got a chance to meet him in person tonight - good to know that it wasn't some elaborate online hoax and, Nate's a real person! Kim was beginning to wonder...
Oh, he also believes that my bustout hand was either fine, or a very small mistake, not a colossal f-up. And he know more about poker than me, by a long shot. So I'll go with that...
